Hong Kong WinterFest is an annual signature campaign organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (“HKTB”) since 2002, with the objective to promote Hong Kong’s unique winter celebrations and to leverage on the heavy festive ambience around town to spread joy and kindness.
Since early this year, the COVID-19 outbreak has brought exceptional challenges to Hong Kong and the community has been suffering a tough time. With the aim to bring positivity to the community, the campaign this year will further enhance the wintertime festive spirit via its anchor event “The Christmas Town” to fill everyone with positive energy to fight against the pandemic.
Epicentro is responsible for providing a comprehensive set of digital solutions regarding the production of virtual experiences for the HKWF, including the design concept, content development of the campaign website, creation, and production of VR experiences such as virtual tour for the Christmas Town.
We provided 3D virtual experience with virtual giant Christmas tree, storytelling by celebrity, Whatsapp sticker download, videos of Christmas Handcraft ideas, also a music room to play Christmas song by Hong Kong artists.
