Hong Kong Central Library - Ink Global 2021
Project Background
Ink Global 2021, scheduled between 25 December 2021 and 21 January 2022 at the Hong Kong Central Library, has been suspended from 7 January 2022 due to the pandemics. To maintain momentum and pay tribute to the painters, people from can now appreciate the stunning paintings in addition to all the 508 ink art masterpieces.
Challenge
Integrate traditional ink art with technology
Strategy
Students of Hong Kong Metropolitan University collaborate with the organiser to integrate traditional ink art with technology, using multimedia such as animation and AR (Augmented Reality) to render ink art. The public will thus learn more about ink paintings and become more interested in them.
